Thank you for the experience!

The transition from a shy, scared girl who struggles to speak in front of an audience to a girl who believes in herself has been extraordinary.

I started my journey at Amal Academy three months ago, and it's safe to say that I have been growing ever since. From the activity centres to the orientation and, then to the sessions, it has been incredibly overwhelming.

I came across many new people who come from a very diverse background with perceptions and opinions completely different from mine has been a mind-opening experience. It helped me grow positively, and the impact on my personal growth has been massive.

To choose just one incident from the entire fellowship so far is hard for me. I think its injustice to all the sweet moments I will skip mentioning.

Every breakout session discussion has helped me improve as a person. Intellectual discussions and fun activities, I have learned something new from the people in every breakout session. The learning group circles and the brilliant people I came across through it, and the friends I made with the people in my mega project circle. I am extremely grateful for every experience.

The thought of this fellowship ending is bitter-sweet. Bitter because it’s the end of a massive learning experience. Sweet because I am a different person from what I was when I started.

Here’s a thank you from my side to every single person in this fellow. Thank you to my Program Manager, Zaki and my Program Associate, Namra. Without all of you guys, the journey would not have been as good as it is.
